2006 SEASON (JUNIOR): Started 51 of 52 games played...Hit .235 with two homers and 15 RBIs...Led the team in runs scored with 36 and was second with 27 walks...Had an 11-game hitting streak from 4/18 to 5/6, including six multi-hit games that helped jump his batting average 76 points...Pitched 3 2/3 innings of relief with four strikeouts over three games...Division I independent all-academic team...2005 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Started 31 of 41 games played...Committed just one error in 74 chances...Hit only .182 but had three multi-hit games...Stole three bases in three tries...Made four mound appearances...Only decision was a loss at Air Force (2/20) in a 16-14 slugfest...Pitched 2 2/3 scoreless innings at Sacramento State (2/24) but walked four batters...2004 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Started 20 of 27 games played and saw time in all three outfield positions...Hit .309, stole three bases and had five sacrifice bunts...Had four multi-hit games including a 3-for-3 effort in the third game of the St. Cloud State series...Also appeared in six games as a relief pitcher, logging 9 2/3 innings, striking out 10 and walking 10...HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2003 from Bellevue West High School in the Omaha metro area...Two-time all-conference performer and twice an honorable mention all-state selection for coach Don Story...Hit .405 as a senior while leading his team in stolen bases, walks, and hit by pitches...Played center field and pitched...Team captain...Also played football and was a two-time all-conference player, all-district, and honorable mention all-state...Wide receiver as a junior, catching passes for 400 yards and five TDs and played quarterback as a senior, passing for 1,000 yards, running for 350 yards, and scoring five TDs...Played two years of varsity basketball and was a starter as a junior...PERSONAL: Majoring in physical education and health education...Family includes one younger sister, Ashley...Son of Greg and Lisa Plecki of Melbourne, Fla.
