Returning starter for the Bison handling all the snaps on special teams and is expected to perform those duties again...Has played in 21 straight games for the Herd...Very reliable and very accurate...2003 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Returned as the long snapper for the second straight season...Had three tackles on punt coverage...2002 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Started all 10 games for the Bison as the long snapper handling all the punts, PAT placements, and field goals...Recorded four tackles as a member of the special teams covering punts...2001 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the 2001 season as a redshirt in the Bison program...HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Minneapolis Southwest High School where he was a three-year letterman and two-year starter...Played both tight end and defensive end and was the long snapper...All-conference as a senior and team captain...Caught 24 passes for 303 yards and 5 TDs as a tight end his senior year while recording five sacks and two interceptions on defense...Also played basketball where he was team captain...PERSONAL: Majoring in mass communication...Enjoys dancing in his spare time...Family includes one older brother and one younger sister...Son of Russell and Jackie Woodstrom of Minneapolis.
