2018 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Appeared in eight games as the No. 2 quarterback behind All-American Easton Stick...Completed 4 of 8 passes for 19 yards...Carried eight times for 30 yards including one touchdown, a 12-yard TD in the season opener against Cal Poly.

2017 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Bison program.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2017 graduate of Lakeland High School...Three-year letterman and two-year starting quarterback under coach Bill Castle...Team captain as a junior and senior...Passed for 1,600 yards and 12 touchdowns his senior year...Racked up 3,500 yards and 29 TDs in his career...Second team all-county as a junior...Threw a school-record 97-yard touchdown pass...Went 20-5 as the starting QB.

PERSONAL: Majoring in university studies...Son of Kevin and Michelle Hotchkiss...Has one brother, Hunter.
