2018 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Member of the Bison football team, but did not appear in any games...Made the Missouri Valley Football Conference honor roll.

2017 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Bison program...Made the Missouri Valley Football Conference honor roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: 2017 graduate of Blaine High School...Three-year starter for coach Tom Develice...Team captain his senior year...All-conference and all-district first team in 2016...Charted 122 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, four sacks, two forced fumbles, two interceptions and two pass breakups...Helped Blaine to a 6-2 regular season record and a state semifinal appearance...Finished in the top 10 in career tackles at Blaine...Made 240 stops including 14 tackles for loss and five sacks in his career...Team MVP on special teams...Played in the Minnesota all-star game...Captain of the hockey team...Also participates in track...Honor roll student.

PERSONAL: Majoring in marketing...Son of Jeremy and Megan Bautch...Father was a hockey player at Miami University (Ohio)...Mother was a swimmer at the University of Minnesota...Oldest of three children...Has a sister, Grace, and brother, Grady.
