Biography

Gives the Bison very steady play in the front line...High-energy player who runs well and has a soft shooting touch...Played in 85 games over the first three years of his career, starting 60 contests and averaging a very consistent 5.6 points and 3.3 rebounds per game...Has lost about 30 pounds from last year and is in outstanding playing shape.

2003-04 Season (Junior): Started 22 of 29 games played for the Herd...Averaged 5.1 points and 3.5 rebounds per game...Hit 43 of his last 67 field goals over a 13-game span for 64.2 percent...Dished out a career-high five assists in the regular-season home win over St. Cloud State...Scored in double digits four times including a season-high 15 in the same St. Cloud State game, shooting 7-for-8 from the field.

2002-03 Season (Sophomore): Started 26 of the 30 games he played in while averaging 5.8 points and 3.2 rebounds per game...Shot 53.8 percent from the field and 72.7 percent from the free throw line...Scored in double figures four times including a season-high 11 points at Minnesota State-Mankato...His other twin-digit games came against Lake Superior State (10), South Dakota (10), and at South Dakota (10)...Hit five of six shots at Minnesota State-Mankato.

2001-02 Season (Freshman): Started 12 of 26 games for North Dakota State and played in all 26...Averaged 6.9 points per game as a starter and finished the year scoring 6.0 per game and collecting 3.2 rebounds...Eclipsed 10 points in five games, scoring a season-high 18 in the home win over Minot State, 14 against Minnesota-Crookston, 11 versus Northern State and 10 on consecutive outings at North Dakota and Morningside... Played 10 or more minutes off the bench in 11 of 14 reserve appearances.

High School: First-team all-conference his junior and senior years and first-team all-state as a senior at Western Dubuque High School...Team captain his final two seasons...Lettered three years and started in two...Averaged 17 points and 10 rebounds per game as a junior...Scored 18 points and had 10 rebounds per game his senior year when his team went undefeated and won the Iowa state championship...All-time scoring record holder at Western Dubuque...Played football and was a team captain and first-team all-district, all-area and all-state his senior year.
