2019 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Made 14 appearances including six starts, two complete games and a pair of combined shutouts...Compiled a 3-2 record with a 2.81 earned run average...Struck out 17 and walked 17 in 42.1 innings pitched...First combined shutout came in 1-0 win over Towson (3-15-19), when she teamed up with teammate KK Leddy...O'Byrne struck out two with no walks in 6.2 innings...Earned Summit League Pitcher of the Week (3-18-19) after going 2-0 with a 0.53 ERA with wins over Towson and Chattanooga (3-16-19)...Had a career-high four strikeouts twice including win over Chattanooga...Had career best five fielding assists vs. Notre Dame (3-9-19)...NFCA Scholar Athlete...Summit League Commissioner's List and Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: First team all-state player for Stewartville High School and head coach Curt Hughes...Pitcher, first baseman and outfielder...Compiled 17-4 record with 283 strikeouts in 131 innings...Opponents had .094 batting average...Hit .459 with seven home runs as senior...Played in Minnesota Prep All-Star game...2017 Post Bulletin Player of the Year and All-Area...Ms. Softball Minnesota finalist...Two-time all-conference performer...Won a softball golden glove award in 2015...Recorded 112 strikeouts in 55 innings pitched with a 7-2 record as a junior...Batted .483 as a junior...Also was two-time all-conference basketball player...Academic all-state in both basketball and softball...National Honor Society.
