Four-year letterwinner out of Valley City High School...Won the North Dakota Class A title at 285 pounds as a senior...Finished second at the state meet as a junior and third as a sophomore...Won regional titles as a senior and junior...Team captain as a junior and senior...Holds school's all-time pins record with 110...Also holds season pins record with 34...Took fourth at the Junior Freestyle nationals in Fargo in 2011...Won the gold medal at the Disney Duals in folkstyle in 2010 and the silver in 2011...Also played football.
