2009-10 (Redshirt): Competed in four tournaments as an unattached wrestler...Posted a record of 8-3...Won the Dragon Open white division at 165 pounds and the Ridgewater Open at 174 pounds.

 

HIGH SCHOOL

Three-time Wyoming state champion and one-time runner-up at Campbell County High School...Had a career record of 157-17...Three-time regional champion...Earned all-state and all-conference honors four times...Member of seven state championship teams...Four-time academic all-state selection...Also played football.

Son of Mitchel and Rene Burgess...Currently undecided on a major...Has one older brother, Grant and one younger brother, Burke...Father wrestled at Montana State-Northern.
