Border States congratulates Jacob Rodin, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.

Rodin, a junior mid-distance runner and agricultural sciences major from Kenmare, ND, broke the North Dakota State school record in the 600 meters to headline the performances of the NDSU men's track & field team at the Jim Emmerich Alumni Invitational on Saturday afternoon, with a time of 1:18.03. He also helped lead the 4x800 team to vicotry with a time of 7:58.30.
