Border States congratulates Kendra Kelly, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Kelly, a sophomore sprinter from Cloquet, Minn., is majoring in criminal justice. She won the 200-meter dash in 24.86 seconds, a new personal best that ranks 10th in NDSU indoor history, at the Dakota Duals. It was her third career win in the 200m. Kelly also won the 60m with a personal best 7.73, and helped win the 4X400 with a time of 4:03.72.
Exhibiting a stellar performance in the classroom and in competition is no easy task. It takes tireless energy, passion and personal commitment to achieve excellence. It's this pursuit of excellence that helps the entire team succeed.
