Border States congratulates Jenna Kes, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Kes, a nursing major and multi-events athlete on the Bison track & field team, claimed the 400m hurdles title at the South Dakota Tune-Up on May 7, running a personal-best and Summit League-leading 1:00.75. She now ranks 8th all-time at NDSU in the event.
Exhibiting a stellar performance in the classroom and in competition is no easy task. It takes tireless energy, passion and personal commitment to achieve excellence. It's this pursuit of excellence that helps the entire team succeed.
