Larson, a senior from Fargo, captured his first individual conference championship with a career-best performance in the decathlon. He totaled a personal-best 6,998 points, ranking him ninth all-time at NDSU.
The Bison men racked up 33 team points in the decathlon by sweeping the top five places. Behind Larson, Grant Mjelstad took second, Daniel Asa was third, Matt Moberg was fourth, and Ryan Enerson finished fifth. Larson had been the league runner-up in the decathlon in each of the past two seasons.

Jerome Begin, Parker McKittrick and Paarmann all qualified for the 110m hurdles final. Begin was the fastest qualifier, clocking a lifetime-best 13.99 seconds – a time that would have tied the NDSU school record had it not been wind-aided.
The Bison men went 3-for-3 in the 800m prelims, with Jonah Warwick, Dalton Herding and Matt Jennings all advancing to tomorrow's final.
Bismarck Century HS grads Landon Jochim and Jacob Richter both advanced to the Summit League finals in the 400m dash. Freshman Karter Gorney was the third-fastest qualifier to the 100m final in a wind-aided 10.79 seconds.
