FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State's
Alex Talley and
Brandon Lewis both won a pair of events to highlight the performances of the Bison men's track & field team Friday at the NDSU Spring Classic.

Talley (West Fargo, N.D.) won the hammer throw and shot put, posting marks that rank in the nation's top 20 for both events. His shot put mark of 63-03.25 (19.28m) is No. 10 in the NCAA, and his hammer mark of 213-7 (65.10m) is 19th.

Lewis won both the long jump and triple jump, registering a wind-aided 24-9 (7.54m) in the long, and a legal 46-9 (14.25m) in the triple.

Freshman
Maxwell Otterdahl threw an outdoor shot put PR of 63-02.75 (19.27m), ranking 11th in the NCAA this season and fifth all-time at NDSU.

Trevor Otterdahl won the discus with a personal-best 170-8 (52.03m), ranking seventh all-time at NDSU. He also recorded a personal-best 207-9 (63.33m) in the hammer throw that stands seventh in school history.

Ty Ogren registered a huge personal-best in the javelin, throwing 212-0 (64.63m). He moved into the top 50 in the NCAA this season.

Josh Knutson won the 400m hurdles with the second-best time of his career, clocking 53.74.

Darrien Lipscomb (200m),
Adrian Harris (400m),
Alex Bartholomay (1500m),
Payton Smith (3000m steeplechase), the 4x100m relay, and 4x400m relay.

Brosseau clocked a personal-best 10.67 to win the 100m. Davis recorded season-best times in both the 110m hurdles (14.45) and 400m hurdles (54.51, 2nd place).

Lipscomb ran a career-best 21.56 to win the 200m, edging teammate
Cody Roder's 21.59.
