Brandon Lewis broke the school record in the indoor long jump, headlining a day of success for the Bison men's track & field team at the Bison Open.

Lewis, a Bismarck Legacy HS product, broke the NDSU indoor all-time best in the long jump, leaping 25-01.75 (7.66m) for the win. Bison Athletic Hall of Famer Brent Parmer had held the top mark of 25-00.50 since 1995.

Jacob Rodin set a new NDSU facility record to win the 4x400m relay, finishing in 3:14.00. The Bison quartet became the new Summit League leaders this season.

Kristoffer Thomsen led a Bison sweep of the top four places in the shot put, throwing 62-08.75 (19.12m) for the win.
Trevor Otterdahl threw an indoor PR of 61-10.50 (18.86m), ranking sixth-best in NDSU history.
Clayton Hannula had the second-best throw of his career at 57-09.75 (17.62m) for third place in the meet.

Levi Rockey registered a shot put personal-best, throwing 57-04.25 (17.48m) to complete the Bison sweep of the top four places.

Trent Davis won the 60m hurdles in a personal-best time of 8.00 seconds, becoming the seventh man in NDSU history to run 8.00 or faster in the hurdles. Freshman

Logan Mathieu set a new PR at 8.17 and placed third.

Alex Brosseau swept the sprint titles, winning the 60m dash in a career-best 6.88 and taking the 200m title in 21.84. His 21.84 is the fastest 200m dash ever by a Bison inside the Shelly Ellig Indoor Facility.

Hunter Merkley recorded the best long jump of his Bison career, going 23-03.50 (7.10m).
Jacob Van Dusseldorp cleared 15-3 (4.65m) for second place in the pole vault.
