Indoor (Junior): Multi-event athlete...Named Summit League field athlete of the year after winning the heptathlon with 5,205 points...Also finished in the top eight in four other events...Placed seventh in the long jump with a leap of 22-6 ¼...Took seventh in the triple jump with a mark of 45-3 ¾...Came in seventh in the pole vault (14-7 ¼) and eighth in the high jump (6-4 ¼)...Score of 5,291 points in the heptathlon at the Bison Open is ranked third all-time.
Outdoor (Junior): Won the decathlon at the Florida State Relays with 7,261 points...Score is fifth all-time at NDSU...Injured his knee competing in the decathlon at the Summit League Championships.

2008-09 SEASON
Indoor (Sophomore): Multi-event athlete...Achieved a personal best score of 5,052 in the heptathlon at the Bison Open...Mark is ranked third all-time at NDSU...Competed in four events at the Summit League Championships...Finished second in the heptathlon and sixth in the long jump with a season best mark of 22-4 ¼ at the league championships...Also placed eighth in the triple jump with a mark of 45-1 and ninth in the high jump, clearing 6-4 ¼.
Outdoor (Sophomore): Reached a personal best score of 6,729 in the decathlon at the Team NoDak Multi-Events...Score is ranked ninth all-time at NDSU...Finished third in the decathlon at the Summit League Championships behind fellow Bison Weston Leutz and Matt Bishoff...Also placed eighth in the pole vault, ninth in the triple jump and 12th in the long jump at the league championships.

2007-08 SEASON
Indoor (Freshman): Came in second in the heptathlon at the NDSU All-Comers meet...His score of 4,893 is second on the all-time performance charts...Finished third in the heptathlon and fourth in the long jump at the Summit League Championships.
Outdoor: Redshirt.

2006-07 SEASON
Indoor: Redshirt.
Outdoor (Freshman): Was the Division I Independent champion in the decathlon as a true freshman scoring 6,492 points... Also won the Bison Classic with a total of 6,647... Placed third in the high jump at the Independent meet... Won the triple jump at the Long Beach Invitational with a jump of 44-0... Competed in the decathlon at the USA Track & Field Junior Outdoor National Championships over the summer in Indianapolis, Indiana.

HIGH SCHOOL: 10-time conference champion while competing for New York Mills (Minn.) High School... Had a four-year run as conference high jump champion while owning a career best height of 6-6... Class A state champion in the long and the triple jump as a junior... Posted prep bests of 21-10 and 45-11 1/2 in the the jumps, both school records... Four-year letterwinner in basketball... Member of the 6A champion basketball squad in 2006 which finished with a 21-6 record... Three-year letterwinner in football while playing tight end, defensive end and kicker.
