Played in all 59 games during his four-year career...Made 54 starts at strong safety including the last 52 straight...Part of three NCAA FCS national championship teams and four Missouri Valley Football Conference titles on Bison teams that went 54-5 overall...Graduated as one of three players in NDSU history to make the All-MVFC first team three times...Also voted to the MVFC All-Academic Team three times...His 17 career interceptions were second most in NDSU history and tied for sixth in MVFC history...On the NDSU career charts, tied for second with 159 solo tackles, tied for eighth with 38 passes defended, and had the 10th-most interception return yards with 144.

2018 SEASON (SENIOR): All-America first team by the Associated Press, STATS FCS, Athlon Sports and Walter Camp Football Foundation...Second team All-America by HERO Sports and Phil Steele...All-Missouri Valley Football Conference first team for the third straight year...Started all 15 games at strong safety...Third on the Bison with 84 total tackles including 49 solo stops...Team-high six interceptions...Season-high 11 tackles including seven solo stops against North Alabama...Two interceptions against Southern Illinois...Had a 33-yard interception return in the NCAA semifinal win over South Dakota State...Made six tackles in the national championship victory over Eastern Washington...Voted to the MVFC All-Academic second team...NFF Hampshire Honor Society member...MVFC President's Council Academic Award...MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award...MVFC Honor Roll.

2017 SEASON (JUNIOR): STATS FCS All-America second team and a repeat selection to the All-Missouri Valley Football Conference first team as a defensive back...Started all 15 games including 14 at strong safety and one at sam linebacker against South Dakota State...NDSU's third leading tackler with 69 stops...Led the Bison with 12 passes defended including four interceptions...MVFC Defensive Player of the Week after collecting two interceptions and two pass breakups in the win at Eastern Washington...Season-high 10 tackles in the homecoming win over Missouri State...Recovered two fumbles in the NCAA playoffs...Made six tackles in the national championship win over James Madison...Named to the FCS Athletic Directors Association Academic All-Star Team...Voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team and MVFC All-Academic first team...MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award and MVFC Honor Roll.

2016 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): All-Missouri Valley Football Conference first team...Started all 14 games at strong safety...NDSU's second-leading tackler with 84 stops...His five interceptions ranked second in the conference behind fellow NDSU safety Tre Dempsey...Only sack of the year came on third down late in the win at Iowa, forcing a three-and-out by the 11th-ranked Hawkeyes and giving NDSU the ball back for its game-winning drive...Made a career-high 11 tackles in the overtime win against Eastern Washington and had 14 tackles in the regular-season loss to South Dakota State four weeks later...Voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team and MVFC All-Academic second team...MVFC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award and MVFC Honor Roll.

2015 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Missouri Valley Football Conference All-Newcomer Team...Played in all 15 games as a true freshman and made 10 starts at strong safety...Started Week 2 against Weber State and Week 6 against South Dakota before becoming the full-time starter over the final eight games...NDSU's third leading tackler...Finished with 68 stops including 4.0 tackles for loss...Eight passes defended including two interceptions...Created two turnovers against South Dakota with a forced fumble and interception...Also had a pick in the NCAA second round win over Montana...Team-high 10 tackles in the homecoming win over Northern Iowa, including a key sack on third down...Matched his season-high with 10 tackles in the win at Southern Illinois...Second on the team with eight tackles including one tackle for loss plus one pass breakup in the national championship victory over Jacksonville State...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Minnesota's 2014 "Mr. Football" award winner under coach Andy Rostberg...Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year...KARE 11 all-metro and Minnesota Vikings all-state...Rushed 155 times for 1,668 yards and 31 touchdowns...Caught 11 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns...On defense, had four forced fumbles and five passes defended...The Tigers were ranked No. 1 in Class 4A all season before losing to DeLaSalle in the Class 4A semifinals...Set a Prep Bowl record with a 92-yard run from scrimmage...Tied a school record with six rushing TDs in a single game...Part of two state championships and three section title teams...Four-time conference champion and two-time all-conference pick...All-state twice in track and field and four-time all-conference performer running the 100 and 200 meters.
