HIGH SCHOOL: Hit .405 as a senior with 11 doubles, seven home runs, 25 RBI and 29 runs scored to lead Granada High School to the section championship game ... Granada dropped a 2-1 decision to Amador Valley, the nation's No. 1-ranked high school team, but recorded the program's best finish in eight years ... Earned first team all-league and third team all-state honors in 2014 ... Played shortstop as a senior, recording a team-high 97 putouts and turning three double plays  ...
