2018 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in 10 games including six starts ... Hit .176 with a pair of runs batted in ... Had three sacrifice hits, two walks and one sacrifice fly ... Had no errors in eight fielding chances ... Went 1 for 2 with a RBI in the 10-2 loss at No. 8 Arizona State (3-30-18) ... Had a sacrifice fly in the 4-2 win vs. BYU (3-30-18).
HIGH SCHOOL: Two-time all-conference and all-district honoree for Wilmot Union High School … Named second team all-state as a junior … Broke school record with 48 hits during her junior season … She is the only player to ever have more than 70 hits in back-to-back seasons … Led the Panthers in batting average at .495, on-base percentage at .510, runs with 30 and RBIs with 36 … Also lettered in basketball.
SUMMER LEAGUE: Three-year starter for 16 Chill Gold … Broke the Chill record for overhand velocity at 74 mph.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Rick and Karen Koehn … Has two brothers, Nick Beyer and Zach Derer … She spent a lot of her time training in Brazilian Jujitsu growing up and was coached by UFC top contender Jeff Curran … Won five straight Midwest Grappling Championships in the boys and girls division … Won the Arnold Schwarzenegger World Grappling Championship three times … Was a two-time NAGA girls Brazilian Jujitsu National Champion in her weight class … Was also a junior Olympian in Tae Kwon Do and won the Northern Regionals to qualify.
