Finished with .250 slugging percentage and .455 on-base percentage ... Fielded .857 with two errors in 14 fielding chances including six fielding assists ... Summit League Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-time all-state selection for Bismarck High School … Four-time All-WDA Softball honoree … Set new Bismarck High School record in batting average (.581), hits in a season (68), runs in a season (50), on-base percentage (.640), strikeouts in a season (137) and defensive assists (119) … Five-year starter and letterwinner at Bismarck.

SUMMER LEAGUE: Three-year starter for the Bismarck Sparks and two-year starter for the Minnesota Irish … Selected to the Canadian Junior National Team athlete pool … Helped the Bismarck Sparks win state championships in 2012 and 2013 … Member of the Bismarck Sparks 16U 2014 state championship team … The Minnesota Irish claimed the USSSA 16U State Championship in 2015 and finished in the top-five at the USSSA Northern National tournament … Played on the ASA Northern National 16U third-place team in 2015 and the ASA 14U Northern B National team that placed fourth in 2014 … Also played one fall season for The Danes.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Joel and Dana Barta … Has two sisters, Dani and Emma … Her father, Joel Barta, is the head baseball coach at the University of Mary in Bismarck … College major is physical education.
