2012 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the entire season as a redshirt in the Bison program...HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2011 from Fort Collins High School...Two-year starting pitcher and first baseman...Went 5-1 his senior year with a 2.33 ERA and was first team all-conference...Made the academic all-state first team twice...PERSONAL: Son of Harry and Aidah Poehlmann of Fort Collins...Has two younger brothers, Derek and Powell...Majoring in exercise science with a minor in Spanish...Played for the Fort Collins Foxes of the Mountain Collegiate Summer Baseball League in 2012...Appeared in 12 games including two starts...Went 0-0 with two saves and a 6.27 ERA in 18 2/3 innings.
