2022 SEASON (SENIOR): Appeared in 46 games with 45 starts…Totaled 39 hits, including eight doubles, five home runs and two triples…Posted 27 runs and 26 RBI…Registered a .241 batting average and .407 slugging percentage…Stole five bases on eight attempts… Helped NDSU set the single-season program record for stolen bases with 87…Notched 11 multiple hit games and six multiple RBI games…Tallied five RBI with three hits, including one double and two home runs with two runs at Minnesota (March 8)…Contributed a career-high four runs with five RBI and two home runs at Northern Colorado (March 25)…Named to the All-Summit League Second Team.

2021 SEASON (JUNIOR): Granted extra year of eligibility from NCAA due to Covid-19...Appeared in 57 games, including 55 starts...Hit .293 in 188 at-bats with 55 hits, including eight doubles and five home runs...Drove in 35 runs and scored 32...Had three hits in games against Northern Colorado (March 7), Western Illinois (March 20) and South Dakota State (April 24)...Drove in three runs in four different games...Had multiple hits in 16 games and drove in multiple runs in eight games...Earned All-Summit League Second Team honors in the outfield...Named to the Summit League Academic Honor Roll.

2020 SEASON (JUNIOR): Started 13 games before season was cut short due to coronavirus pandemic...Hit .238 with 10 hits in 42 at-bats, including a double...Drove in four runs, while scoring six...Had a season-high two hits against Hawaii (Feb. 14)...Named to Summit League Academic Honor Roll.

2019 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Played in 39 games, including 38 starts between catcher and outfield … Recorded a .280 batting average with 40 hits in 143 at bats to go along with 16 runs scored, a team-leading 28 RBI, five doubles, a home run, 24 walks and three stolen bases … Posted nine multi-hit games …  Went 4-for-5 with a double and three RBI in the season opener at Sacramento State on Feb. 16 … Went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored at Purdue Fort Wayne on April 5.

2018 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 11 games … Hit .167 on two hits, while driving in a run and scoring two runs ... Also had a walk ... Named to The Summit League Academic Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner and starter at Roosevelt High School ... Hit .340 with one home run and 25 RBI in 33 games and had no errors for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage his senior season ... All-conference selection and was named the defensive MVP for his high school team as a senior ... His team went a perfect 33-0 and won the state championship his senior season of high school ... Played legion baseball for Sioux Falls West, where he compiled a .385 batting average with 14 doubles, five triples, five homers and 46 RBI in 47 games in the summer of 2017 ... Named team MVP for legion baseball team senior year, and was the defensive MVP as a junior. 

PERSONAL: Son of Rich Simonsen and Elizabeth Larson-Simonsen ... Has one brother, Ben ... His mother, Elizabeth, played tennis at Augustana in Sioux Falls ... Majoring in business administration...Played for Fremont Moo of the Expedition League in the summer of 2020, helping the Moo to the league title...
