Biography

2012 SEASON (JUNIOR): Hit .125 in 32 official at-bats over 18 games...Made two starts at first base and five as designated hitter...Went 2-for-4 with a walk, double, home run, two RBIs and three runs scored in the series opener at Northern Colorado in February...Had a two-run single to break an early 2-2 tie in the home loss to Minnesota...Named to the Summit League Winter/Spring All-Academic Team and Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence...2011 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Part-time player who hit .356 with three extra-base hits and eight RBIs in 23 games...Made seven starts at second base and one at DH...Hit a team-high .480 with runners on base...Went 4-for-5 with a triple, RBI and two runs scored in the regular season finale against Western Illinois...Had three hits in a home win over North Dakota and drove in three runs in a 2-for-5 game against South Dakota State at home...Named to the Summit League Winter/Spring All-Academic Team and Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence...JUNIOR COLLEGE: Spent two seasons at Des Moines Area Community College...Sat out the 2010 season with an injury but was named second team Academic All-Region...Limited to nine games as a freshman in 2009 behind ABCA National Player of the Year and two-time All-American Jake Astor...Went 1-for-9 at the plate with an RBI double...HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2008 from Andover High School...Two-year starting third baseman...Hit .486 with 11 doubles, three home runs and 32 RBIs to earn all-conference and Pioneer Press all-state honors his senior year...Played in the Lions All-Star Game and the Twin Cities East-West Showdown...Academic All-State honoree...Also lettered in hockey...PERSONAL: Son of Michael and Wendy Kenneally of Andover...Has an older sister, Nicole...Dad played college football at St. Thomas (Minn.)...Majoring in business administration.
