2015 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Played in two games against Western Illinois and Missouri State...Split time between fullback and defensive end.

2014 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Split time between fullback and defensive end throughout the season...Played both offense and defense against Incarnate Word...Forced a fumble in the UIW game...Also played in the home win over Youngstown State...MVFC Honor Roll and Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award.

2013 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Bison program...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: 2013 graduate of Chisago Lakes High School...All-state performer for the Wildcats and head coach Bill Weiss...Played in MSHSL all-star game...Earned all-state honors on offensive line, while also playing linebacker and handling kicking duties...Led Chisago Lakes with 126 tackles as a senior and 120 stops as junior...Two-time all-conference player...Booted school-record 42-yard field goal...Honorable mention all-state at linebacker as junior...Two-time all-conference hockey player for Wildcats...State qualifier on the wrestling mat...Also played lacrosse, tennis and baseball for Chisago Lakes.
 
PERSONAL: Majoring in management...Son of Steve and Stephanie Sargeant...Has three brothers, Eric, Jeff and Thomas, and two sisters, Katelyn and Sarah...Steve and Eric played football for Minnesota-Duluth...Jeff played football at Michigan Tech.
