2017 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in 10 of 11 regular-season games...Caught one pass for 15 yards against Robert Morris...Dismissed from the team in November for a violation of team rules.

2016 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out as a redshirt in the Bison program...MVFC Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterman for teams that compiled a 25-7 record under coach Bryan Dahl…Chaska won back-to-back conference titles in 2013 and 2014 and reached the Class 5A state semifinals with an 11-1 record in 2013…Two-year starter playing wide receiver and cornerback…Set the school's career record with 16 touchdown receptions…Had 28 catches for 569 yards and eight TDs his senior year…Also made two interceptions and had a 70-yard blocked field goal return for a touchdown…Part of the USA Football Under-18 team in the 2015 International Bowl…All-conference in 2014 as the Metro West Conference leader in TD receptions…2015 Chaska Offensive MVP…Named all-district and academic all-conference…Also played for the conference champion basketball team his junior year.

PERSONAL: Majoring in sport management...Son of Joel and Karen Engel of Chaska, Minn…Both parents are members of the Augsburg College Athletic Hall of Fame (men's basketball and women's track)…Older brother, Derrick, was a wide receiver at Winona State (2009-10) and Minnesota (2012-13)…Also has an older sister, Kaylee.
