2004 Season (Junior): Named to the Division I all-independent first team...Scored the game-winning goal against Drury for NDSU’s first Division I win... Also notched an assist in the 2-1 overtime affair... Posted a goal apiece in a pair of 2-0 shutouts of South Dakota State and Carroll College... Contributed in all 17 games for NDSU, including 16 starting assignments... Ranked third on the team in goals (4), points (10) and shots on goal (11).
2003 Season (Redshirt): Saw limited action due to an injury... Played in and started three games, taking six shots and putting three on goal.
2002 Season (Sophomore): Named to the NSCAA All-Central Region second team and the All-North Central Conference team... Started all 19 of the Bison games... Scored seven goals while dishing out eight assists for a total of 22 points... Attempted 63 shots, putting 21 on goal... Scored two game-winning goals.
2001 Season (Freshman): Started 18 of 19 games played for the Bison... Notched five goals and four assists for 14 points... Had the team’s second-most shots (57) and shots on goal (38).
High School: A 2001 graduate of Irondale High School... Pumped in 37 goals and dished out 23 assists in three seasons for Irondale... Earned all-state honors in 1999 and was the second-leading scorer in Minnesota... Two-time all-conference performer and was named the league’s Rookie of the Year in 1997... Her club experience included successful stops with the Twin Cities Fire and New Brighton Classic... Captain of the track team... Received volunteer pin for recognition (volunteer service hours) at Unity Hospital.
Personal: Daughter of Ed and Diane Christensen...Has one brother, Brian... Major is psychology, with a minor in child development.
