The 2005 Season: Amber provided the young North Dakota State staff with experience ... Compiled a 9-3 record with one save and an 1.38 earned run average ... Led NDSU with four shutouts ... Set a school single-season record by issuing just nine walks in 91.1 innings pitched for an average of 0.69 bb per inning ... Struck out 66 batters, and limited opponents to a .220 batting average ... Record double-figure strikeouts twice with a pair of 11-K efforts against the University of Mary (4-21-05) and Eastern Ilinois (3-5-05) ... 2005 NFCA Scholar Athlete ... 2005 Division I All-Independent second team ... Division I Independent Pitcher of the Week ... 2005 Division I Independent Softball all-academic team ... Hit .268 with one home run and 5 RBI ... The home run came in her 5-0 win over Elon University (3-15-05) ... The Elon game was one of four multi-hit games.
