Biography

The 2006 Season: Erin started in 56 games played ... Missed only one game after getting hit by pitch in the face against UMKC (2-25-06) at the University of Arkansas Lady 'Back Invitational ... Came back the next day and played against nationally-ranked Penn State and Drake ... 2006 NFCA Scholar Athlete ... Named to the 2006 Division I Independent All-Academic team ... Hit .134 with 1 home run and five RBI ... First collegiate homer came against UMKC (4-7-06) ... Scored seven runs, cracked three doubles and added five sacrifice hits ... Had only two errors in 75 fielding chances for a .973 fielding percentage ... Matched a season-high with five fielding assists.

The 2005 Season: Erin joined teammate Lynnae Foshag as the only two NDSU players to appear and start in all 51 games last season ... Hit .282 with eight doubles and seven RBI ... Recorded 10 multi-hit games including a 3-for-3 performance that included a double against nationally ranked Iowa (3-27-05) ... 2005 Division I Independent Softball all-academic team ... Also matched her career-high with a 3-for-4 effort against St. Bonaventure (3-20-05) that also included a two-base hit ... Ripped a double and single in three other games at the Holiday Inn 49er Classic in Charlotte, N.C. ... Went 7-for-13 with three doubles in the five-game set ... Improved her fielding percentage by over 70 points to .972 with only two errors in 72 fielding chances ... Made a career-high six putouts vs. Iowa (3-27-05).

The 2004 Season: Erin started in 37 of 39 games played ... Hit .299 with no home runs and 13 RBI ... Scored four runs, belted three doubles and a triple, added a stolen base ... Had six multi-hit games including a season-high 3-for-3 showing with a double and three RBI against New York Tech (3-19-04) ... Her other multi-RBI game came against Bemidji State on April Fool’s Day, cracking a double and triple to drive in five runs in the 12-0 win over the Beavers ... Drew a pair of walks on two occasions vs. Minnesota State, Mankato (4-20-04) and South Dakota (4-3-04).

In Her Career: Has started in 144 of 146 games played during Bison career ... Hitting .248 (77-310) with 14 doubles, 17 runs scored and 25 RBI ... Has .310 slugging percentage and .294 on-base percentage ... Recorded 17 walks, 11 sacrifice hits and four stolen bases in six attempts ... Career fielding percentage is .956 with only eight errors in 183 fielding chances ... Has 13 fielding assists.

High School: A 2003 graduate of El Dorado High School, the same high school that produced former NDSU pitcher Melissa Hobson ... Three-year starter as an outfielder and pitcher ... Two-time all-league selection ... Member of 2002 CIF Division II championship team, participated in 2000 and 2001 tourneys ... Hit .321 as El Dorado also won Empire League title in 2002 ... Played for the 18U Gold So Cal Fillys that placed 6th at the 2002 Gold qualifiers ... Attended ASA 16U Nationals with Gordon’s Panthers (17th place) ... Also played outside hitter on volleyball team that claimed several league titles ... Regular on honor roll ... Member of California Scholarship Federation ... AP History candidate ...
