2016-17 SEASON (Freshman): Wrestled at 197 pounds, placing in four tournaments including first place at the Dragon Open (12-4-16) with a 3-0 record and runner-up showing at Bison Open (11-12-16) ... Compiled a 14-7 record overall with a pair of pins, one tech fall and one major decision ... Pair of third place efforts at the North Country Open (1-29-17) and in the Finn Grinaker Open/Gold Division (11-19-16).

2015-16 SEASON (Redshirt): Competed at 184 pounds unattached including one tournament win and a runner-up finish ... Compiled 12-12 record including a pair of pins, two major decisions and one tech fall ... Went 3-0 to take top honors at the Ridgewater Open (1-9-16) ... Won three of four matches to place second in the MSU Moorhead Dragon Open/Red Division (12-5-15) ... Also placed fourth at the North Country Open (1-30-16) and sixth at the Grand View Open (11-7-15).

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner for Pekin High School and head coach John Jacobs … Illinois Class 3A Regional 182-pound champion and state tournament qualifier as a junior in 2014, capping off 29-3 season … Put together a 36-3 record as a senior with 18 pins and placed second at regional … Placed second at the 2014 Conflict at Carver and third at the 2014 Grand River Rumble Open his senior year … Finished career with a 107-32 record … Placed fourth at 195-pounds in the 2014 USA Wrestling Greco-Roman State Championships.
