2015-16 SEASON (Redshirt): Wrestled unattached at 133 and 141 pounds ... Finished in the top five in seven Open tournaments where he competed including first place showing at the Ridgewater Open (1-9-16) ... Won three of four matches to place third at the Bison Open (11-14-15) ... Had a 19-11 record with three pins, three major decisions and a pair of tech falls ... Also finished fourth at the North Country Open (1-30-16), and fifth at the Grand View Open (11-7-15) and in the Finn Grinaker Open / Gold Division (11-21-15).

HIGH SCHOOL: Won 2015 Minnesota State Class AA championship at 132 pounds for Scott West High School … Four-time state qualifier, placing third at 2014 state tournament and fourth in 2013 … Overall, Scott West High School was a two-time state runner-up in 2012 and 2014, and placed third in 2015 … Won four Section 2AA titles at 106, 113, 126 and 132 pounds during prep career … Two-time academic all-state performer … Two-time Rumble on the Red champion … Notched at least 40-wins each season during prep career for overall record of 183-27 including 49-4 in 2014 and 47-3 in 2015 … Second on the Scott West win list … Also played golf in high school.
