2015 SEASON (SENIOR): All-Missouri Valley Football Conference second team...Started all 15 games at right guard...Named MVFC Offensive Lineman of the Week after the win at Southern Illinois, where he had nine knockdowns and an 88 percent technique grade to help the Bison rush for a then season-high 397 yards...Graded out at 85 percent technique and 99 percent assignment on 745 reps through the regular season without allowing a sack...The Bison offensive line led the MVFC in sacks allowed (1.07/game) and tackles for loss allowed (4.20/game)...NDSU had the league's top rushing offense (236.7 ypg) and nation's best average time of possession (36:38)…Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.

2014 SEASON (JUNIOR): Started all 16 games at right guard...Named Missouri Valley Football Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week following the win over Youngstown State...Helped NDSU rush for a season-high 353 yards and 7.2 yards per carry against YSU...Part of an offensive line unit that paved the way for a school-record 1,994 rushing yards by running back John Crockett...The Bison offensive line ranked first in the FCS with only 3.38 tackles for loss allowed per game...NDSU ranked second nationally in time of possession (34:03) and third in total first downs (343) while putting up a school-record 6,916 yards of total offense.

2013 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Bison program after transferring from NCAA Division II member Minnesota-Crookston.
 
BEFORE NDSU: Two-year starter at right guard for Minnesota-Crookston in 2011 and 2012...Two-time all-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference honorable mention pick.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: 2011 graduate of Somerset High School...All-state performer on both sides of football for the Spartans and head coach Bruce Larson...Played left tackle on offense and defensive end...Two-time all-conference and all-region selection...Honorable mention all-state as a junior...Somerset compiled 41-7 record during his career...All-conference and all-region wrestler...Competed in track and field.
 
PERSONAL: Invited to a mini-camp tryout with the Atlanta Falcons in May 2016...Majoring in criminal justice with a minor in psychology…Member of the NDSU criminal justice club...Son of Dan and Shannon Jents...Has one sister, Alixandra Jents.
