2014 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Joined the team during spring camp and played in the Incarnate Word game...Part of the 70-man travel squad for the NCAA championship game...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2013 from Langdon Area High School...Three-year starter and four-year letterman for Langdon-Munich and coach Josh Krivarchka...Played running back and wide receiver...All-state first team running back on a 10-2 team that reached the state semifinals his senior year...Teammate of NDSU linebacker Travis Beck on a 2009 state runner-up team that went 10-2...Starting wide receiver in the 2013 North Dakota Shrine Bowl...Four-time state meet participant in track and field...Also participated in basketball and American Legion baseball.
PERSONAL: Majoring in sport management...Son of Jane Hayen of Langdon, N.D...Has two older brothers, Jeremy and Chris, and a younger sister, Madison.
