2011 SEASON (JUNIOR): Made 14 appearances including nine starts with a 2-3 record and 5.69 ERA...Second on the team with 61 2/3 innings pitched and led the staff with 46 strikeouts...Held opponents to a .251 batting average...Fanned a season-high seven batters in his first start of the year against Bucknell...Longest outing was 7 2/3 innings in a 5-3 win over Oral Roberts where he allowed three runs on four hits with five strikeouts...2010 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Made 11 appearances with a 0-0 record and team-best 3.42 ERA in 23 2/3 innings...Started four midweek games with his longest outing just 3 2/3 innings against Concordia Moorhead but with a season-high six strikeouts...Was pulled after two innings from the Long Island game after issuing four straight walks, but rebounded to throw 10 straight scoreless innings over the next five contests...ERA dipped to a season-low 1.46 after that stretch...JUNIOR COLLEGE: Played the 2009 season at Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount, Minn...Had a 7-0 record and 3.19 ERA with 50 strikeouts in 48 innings while holding opposing hitters to a .253 average...Made nine starts and tossed three complete games...HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2007 from Prior Lake High School...Three-year varsity letterman for coach Darwin Busselman...Went 5-2 with a 1.30 ERA and 67 strikeouts in 54 innings his senior year...Struck out 12 batters in an 8-1 win over Hutchinson...Hit .354 with eight doubles, one homer and 17 RBIs...Named team MVP and all-conference...Selected to the Lions All-Star Game and Twin Cities East-West Showdown...Also quarterbacked the varsity football team for two seasons...PERSONAL: Son of Doug and Kelly Anderson of Savage, Minn...Has two younger sisters, Jayma and Kailey...Majoring in psychology with a minor in criminal justice.
