AT MILES CC: Two-year starter and letterwinner ... Selected as the Pitcher of the Year both seasons at Miles CC ... Was named all-region as a freshman and all-conference as a sophomore.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Les Horn and Ontario High School in Ontario, Ore., where he was a four-year starter and letterwinner ... Participated in the 4A Senior All-Star Game, where he went 2-for-3 .. Also played football and basketball and ran track. 

PERSONAL: Son of Leslie and Janis Horn ... Has three brothers, Ben, Danny and Cade as well as one sister, Jessie ... Married to Kamilla Felix Horn ... Plans to major in civil engineering at NDSU.
