Summit League Academic Honor Roll (2017)

2022 SEASON (SENIOR): Made five appearance on the mound with one start…Registered a 3.68 ERA…Tossed 11 strikeouts over 7.1 innings…Fired a season-high five strikeouts over 3.0 innings at Florida Atlantic (March 15)…Earned the win at Minnesota and contributed two strikeouts over 2.0 innings (March 8).

2021 SEASON (JUNIOR): Granted extra year of eligibility from NCAA due to Covid-19...Missed season due to injury.

2020 SEASON (REDSHIRT JUNIOR): Started four games before season was cut short due to coronavirus pandemic...Compiled an 0-1 record with a 3.12 ERA in 8.2 innings of work...Struck out five, while allowing 10 walks and eight hits...Struck out a season-high three against St. Bonaventure (March 1).

2019 SEASON (JUNIOR): Redshirted due to injury.

2018 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Appeared and started in 15 games … Posted a 5-6 record with a 4.57 ERA in 86 and 2/3 innings … Complied 66 strikeouts and 41 walks … Gave up 85 hits and 44 earned runs … Tallied his first no-hitter against Central Connecticut State (Feb 23) … Had a career-high nine strikeouts against Fort Wayne (March 23) … Two-time Summit League Pitcher of the Week … Selected as the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper National Player of the Week.

2017 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Made 10 appearances, including three starts ... Posted a 1-1 record with a 2.31 ERA in 23 and 1/3 innings of work ... Compiled 21 strikeouts and only eight walks ... Surrendered six earned runs on 28 hits ... Struck out a career-best four batters twice ... Named to The Summit League Academic Honor Roll. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner and starter for Eastview High School ... Three-time all-section and two-time all-conference honoree ... Named all-state as a senior and was the South Suburban Conference Pitcher of the Year ... Went 8-2 on the mound his senior season ... Participated in the Lions All-Star Game ... Holds the Eastview career records for wins, strikeouts and ERA. 

PERSONAL: Son of Ron and Amy Johnson ... Has one brother, Zack, and a sister, Sophia ... His brother, Zack, played football at NDSU from 2012-2016, while his sister, Sophia, attends NDSU ... Majoring in finance...
