2015 SEASON (SENIOR): Started 14 of 15 games at cornerback, missing only the senior day home win over Missouri State due to injury...Fifth on the team with 57 tackles including 2.5 tackles for loss and one sack...Three tackles came on kickoff coverage...Credited with a career-high 14 tackles in the season-opening loss at Montana...Broke up eight passes on the year...Made his first career interception in the national championship win over Jacksonville State…Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.

2014 SEASON (JUNIOR): Made all 16 starts at cornerback...Sixth on the team with 68 total tackles including 3.0 tackles for loss...Credited with 10 pass breakups and one quarterback hurry...Career-high eight tackles including six solo stops against Montana...Also made eight tackles in the NCAA semifinal win over Sam Houston State...Had four stops as part of the kickoff coverage team...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.

2013 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Played in 13 of 15 games as a regular on special teams…Made two starts against Youngstown State and South Dakota in place of injured All-America cornerback Marcus Williams…Season-high six tackles including five solo stops at Youngstown State…Finished the year with 19 tackles and a pass breakup.
 
2012 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Played in all 15 games on special teams and in the secondary...Finished with 17 tackles including 12 solos...Had season-high 4 tackles vs. Youngstown State (10-6-12)...Credited with three solo tackles vs. Prairie View A&M (9-22-12).
 
2011 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out season as redshirt in Bison program.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: 2011 graduate of Westview High School...First-team all-State and all-Desert West Region running back for Westview and head coach Jeff Bowen...Rushed for 1,167 yards and 16 TDs for the 10-3 state Class 5A Division II semifinalists...Three-year starter for Westview...Rushed for 1,053 yards and earned all-region second-team honors at defensive back as a junior...Starter at defensive back as a sophomore for the 2008 team that went 12-2 and played in state championship game.
 
PERSONAL: Graduated from NDSU in December 2015 with a bachelor's degree in sport management and a minor in business adminstration…Son of Darryll and Vicky Dorce’us...Has one brother, Jared Champion, and one sister, Courtney Champion...Participated in NDSU's "Eat Smart. Play Hard." youth nutrition campaign and has volunteered with Special Olympics.
