HIGH SCHOOL: 2018 graduate of Verndale High School, competing in track & field for Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale ... Minnesota Class A state champion in the shot put as a senior in 2018, throwing 62-03.50 ... State runner-up in the discus as a senior, with a personal-best mark of 194-1 at the section meet his senior year ... Swept the state titles in the shot put and discus as a junior in 2017 ... Won the discus title at the Hamline Elite Meet as a junior, and won the shot put at Hamline as a senior ... School, conference, and section record holder in the shot put and discus ...
