HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner in track and field at Northwood Public School...Two-time state qualifier...Finished 12th at the state championships in the discus as a junior and seventh as a senior...Holds the school record in the discus...Named most outstanding thrower twice...Also played four years of basketball...Helped team to a district championship.

 

PERSONAL: Son of Randal and Carol Hajicek...Has one older sister, Brianne Meirer...Planning to major in exercise science...Finished high school career as salutatorian with a 4.0 GPA.
