HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner in track and field at Bismarck High School...Had a personal record of 42-2 in the triple jump and was fifth at the state championships...Personal best of 19-8 ¼ in the long jump in a ninth place conference finish...Also a four-year letterwinner in soccer...Helped team to a state runner-up finish...Named to the all-conference tournament team...Played two years of tennis as well...Played club soccer for the Nodak Rampage for eight years and won six straight state titles...Class valedictorian...National Merit Scholar Finalist.

PERSONAL:  Son of Brian and Sharon Beattie...Has an older sister, Jade...Plans to major in electrical engineering.
