HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner in cross country and track at Sartell High School...All-conference honoree in cross country in 2008...Earned honorable mention all-conference honors in 2006 and 2007...Ran mid-distance and distance on the track team...Named all-conference in the 1600 as a senior...Member of two honorable mention all-conference relay teams...Member of Minnesota true team state runner-up squad in 2009 and third place team in 2008.
PERSONAL: Son of Keith and Tammie Yapp...Has a younger sister, Alyssa and a younger brother, Jacob...Planning to major in mechanical engineering...Both parents attended NDSU.
