2006-07 (Junior): One of the standouts in his first season with the Bison, posting a 22-7 overall record and 11-3 in duals with a pin on Kyle Anson of Northern Iowa in the Brand-Kaufman Open... Captured the individual title in the 125 lb. weight class at the NCAA West Regionals... Won 10 matches in a row at the end of the season, culminating in his regional championship... Finished second at Kaufman-Brand Open and third at the Bison Open.

2004-06 (Iowa Central C.C.): NJCAA national champion at 125 pounds in 2006 and placed third in 2005...Compiled a two-year record of 58-12.

High School: Graduated in 2004 from Davenport North High School...Compiled a record of 131-35 and won a state championship in 2003...Placed in state on two other occassions and was a three-time district champion...Holds records for career wins and near falls in a season and career.

Personal: Majoring in university studies... Son of Robert and Michelle Hoffman of Davenport... Family includes one brother, Alec.
