2007-08 (Redshirt): Competed in four open tournaments as an unattached wrestler at 125...Ended the season with a 9-7 record with two pins...Finished sixth at the Bison Open...Finished second in the white division at the Dragon Open and fifth at the Jimmie Open...Also competed at the Kaufman-Brand Open.

High School: Six time letterwinner at Barnesville High School for coach Art Meyer...A three-time state champion who currently holds the Minnesota all-time wins record...Posted a 246-13 record during his high school career...Also placed second and third in the state meet... Named team captain twice...Named to the academic all-state team twice...Also was a four year letter-winner in track and football...Was named to the all-sectional team in football his senior year.

Personal: Plans to major in mass communication...Son of Mark and Sandra Anderson...Father was a two-time All-America wrestler for NDSU, and his three uncles, John, Paul, and Bruce, all wrestled for the Bison...Has one older sister, Kelly.
