2007-08 (FRESHMAN): Finished the season with a 10-12 overall record and 2-6 in duals...Notched one pin in the Bison Open where he finished sixth...Finished fourth at the NCAA West Regional at 174 with a 2-2 record beginning with a 12-4 major decision over Kyle Morrow of Wyoming...Fell to Alex Dolly of Northern Iowa...Won a major decison over Justin Retallic of South Dakota State...Lost a 6-2 decision to Ryan Johnson of Northern Colorado.

High School: Graduated from Napoleon High School in 2007...Six-year starter for coach Barry McCleary...Posted an overall record of 180-36...State champion his junior and senior year...Also placed fifth and sixth (twice) at the state meet...Lettered three times in football...Helped Napoleon capture the state nine-man football championship...Named to the all-conference team.
