Biography

2013 SEASON (JUNIOR): Played in all 15 games on special teams and appeared in the defensive secondary…Charted 18 tackles including 13 solos…Had a 44-yard interception return for touchdown against Ferris State…Also recorded a pass breakup in the FCS championship win over Towson…Career-high six tackles (four solo) in the homecoming win over Missouri State.
 
2012 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Played in 13 games...Finished with 13 tackles including five solos...Returned first collegiate interception 12 yards for a touchdown vs. South Dakota (10-20-12).
 
2011 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Missed season with knee injury, but dressed in the FCS national championship game.
 
2010 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season while attending NDSU.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: 2010 graduate of Superior High School...All-conference defensive back for Superior and head coach Robert Demeyer...Three-year starter and four-year letterwinner...Four-year letterwinner in track & field, competing in the 100, 200, 400 and long jump...Two-year letterwinner in basketball.
 
PERSONAL: Majoring in psychology with a minor in human development and family science…Son of Penny Colvin, Shakopee, Minn., and Lloyd Colvin, Broken Arrow, Okla...Has three brothers, Andrew Watson, Seth Colvin and Chris Colvin.
