2013 SEASON (JUNIOR): Regular member of the defensive rotation at left end in all 15 games…Made two starts at Southern Illinois and Indiana State…Totaled 22 tackles including 4.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks…Second on the team with eight quarterback hurries…Also credited with a pass breakup and a forced fumble…Season-high three tackles on five occasions…Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.
 
2012 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): Played in all 15 games...Instant celebrity after catching two-point conversion pass from kicker Adam Keller in the FCS national championship game vs. Sam Houston State (1-5-13)...Credited with three fumble recoveries to rank among Missouri Valley Football Conference leaders...Recorded 28 tackles overall including five tackles for loss, four sacks, four QB hurries and three passes defended...Career-high five tackles vs. Prairie View A&M (9-22-12)...Matched career-highs with two solos and a fumble recovery in win at Illinois State (11-17-12)...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.
 
2011 SEASON (FRESHMAN): Saw limited action in five games...Credited with four tackles including three solos...Had a season-high three tackles vs. Saint Francis (9-10-11) including a sack, QB hurry and a pass breakup...Named to the MVFC Honor Roll.
 
2010 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Bison program.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: 2010 graduate of O’Gorman High School...All-state defensive end under head coach Steve Kueter...Had 62 tackles and nine sacks as a senior...O’Gorman advanced to the state semifinals in 2008 and 2009, compiling a 19-5 record...Two-time all-conference and member of the Elite 45 as a senior...Four-year letterwinner in basketball...Competed in shot put and discus on the track & field team.
 
PERSONAL: Majoring in sport and recreation leadership with a minor in business…Son of Doyle and Donna Hardie...Has one brother, Jason, and one sister, Lezlee...Brother played football at St. John’s (Minn.) from 2002-06, father played football and basketball at Black Hills State from 1974-78.
