2014 SEASON (REDSHIRT): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Bison program.
HIGH SCHOOL: Comes from a program that won three straight North Carolina 3AA state championships from 2011-2013 and compiled a 41-4 record under coaches Johnny Roscoe and Robert Brian Thomas...Played both wide receiver and defensive back for the Nighthawks...Made 63 tackles and was the conference leader in pass interceptions with five his senior year...Also caught seven passes for 165 yards and three touchdowns...All-conference performer and academic all-conference.
PERSONAL: Majoring in university studies...Son of Joseph and Agretta Scott of Browns Summit, N.C...Has two brothers and three sisters...Older sister, Yvonna Hines, was a collegiate sprinter at UNC Charlotte.
