2013-14 SEASON

Indoor (Sophomore): Placed seventh in the heptathlon at the Summit League Indoor Championships ... Season-best heptathlon score of 4,543 points for fifth place at the Thundering Herd Classic on Feb. 7-8 ... Also competed in the pole vault at the Summit League Championships but no-heighted ... Cleared a season-best 14-07.25 (4.45m) in the pole vault at the Cobber Duals on Feb. 1.
Outdoor (Redshirt): Competed unattached as a redshirt ... Achieved a new personal-best javelin mark of 161-0 (49.08m).

2012-13 SEASON

Indoor (Freshman): Placed sixth in the pole vault and eighth in the heptathlon at the Summit League Indoor Championships ... Cleared an indoor-best 14-09.50 (4.51m) in the pole vault at the league meet ... Scored 4,491 points in the heptathlon at the league meet ... Season-best heptathlon score of 4,589 points at the Thundering Herd Classic on Feb. 1-2 ... Also ran 9.00 seconds in the 60m hurdles.
Outdoor (Sophomore): Scored 5,677 points in the decathlon for sixth place at the Aztec Invitational on Mar. 14-15 ... Started the California Invitational heptathlon on Apr. 17 but did not finish.

2011-12 SEASON

INDOOR: Redshirted ... scored 4,201 points in the heptathlon for sixth place at the Dakota Duals in December.
OUTDOOR (Freshman): Finished ninth in the decathlon at the Summit League Outdoor Championships as a true freshman, scoring 4,530 points after no-heighting in the pole vault ... totaled 5,539 points in his first collegiate decathlon at the Aztec Invitational on March 15 ... posted a season-best pole vault clearance of 15-00.25 (4.58m) at the NDSU-UND Dual on May 4.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner from Mandan High School...Finished second at the North Dakota state meet in the pole vault as a senior and fifth as a junior...Also placed third at the state meet as a senior in the 110 meter hurdles...Took third at the 2011 North Dakota state wrestling meet at 135 pounds as a senior...Also played football.

PERSONAL: Son of Stephen and Francis Koppy...Has three older brothers, Ryan, Loren and Eric...Has one younger sister, Marissa...Majoring in math education with a minor in Spanish.
