HIGH SCHOOL: Placed seventh in the discus and 12th in the shot put at the 2012 North Dakota Class A state championships as a senior ... took third in the discus at the Class A state meet as a junior in 2011 ... eighth place in the discus as a sophomore ... high school discus personal best of 164-07 ... also an honorable mention all-West Region player in football.
