Biography

2006-07 Season

Indoor Track & Field (Sophomore): Competed in a pair of meets for the Bison higlighted by a seventh place finish at the Dakota Duals... Outdoor Track & Field (Sophomore): Placed fifth at the Division I Independent Championships by improving his personal record to 14-11... Placed fourth at the Bison Classic.

 

2005-06 Season

Indoor Track & Field (Freshman): Gained a foot from his first to his second pole vault, going from 13-6 at the Bison Open to 14-6 1/4 at the University of Minnesota... Increased height to 14-7 1/4 in third-place finish at the Dakota Duals... Outdoor Track & Field (Freshman): Opened the outdoor season third at the Bison Invitational with a 13-0 vault... Went 14-6 at the Bison Classic for a seasonal best.

 

2004-05 Season: Redshirt. 

 

High School: Lettered in soccer, hockey, track & field, and band at Sartell (Minn.) High School... Set Sartell’s school pole vault record with a vault of 14-0... Captain of soccer, hockey and track & field teams as a senior... Prep coach was Jeff Kellerman.

 

Personal: Son of Dennis and Lois Legatt... Has one older sister, Michelle... Majoring in architecture.
