2005-06 Season

Cross Country (Junior): Raced in all six meets for the Bison... Finished as NDSU's No. 4 runner at the Dragon Open, crossing the line in 39th place... Also the No. 4 runner at the Roy Griak Invitational (9/24) and the Tori Neubauer Invitational (10/15)... Indoor Track & Field (Senior): Competed exclusively in the 3,000, hitting a season-best 11:36.80 at the Bison Classic (2/17)... Outdoor Track & Field (Senior): Had a pair of runner-up results in the 5,000 during the season, including a 19:39.07 at the Ron Masanz Invitational.

2004-05 Season: Did not compete.

2003-2004 Season

Cross Country (Sophomore): Ran in four meets during the cross country season... Placed 44th at the North Central Conference championships with a time of 24:25.91... Indoor Track & Field (Sophomore): Opened the indoor season with a runner-up place finish in the 3,000 (11:34.85) at the Husky Open... Outdoor Track & Field: Did not compete. 

2002-2003 Season

Cross Country (Freshman): Had four finishes inside the top 25 while competing in all six events for the Bison... Opened her career with a 10th-place run at the Maple Ridge Run... Placed 21st at the NCC meet... Indoor Track & Field (Freshman): Ran times of 5:48.06 in the mile, 10:59.18 in the 3,000 and 19:06.60 in the 5,000... Won the 3,000 at the Bison Open with a time of 11:06.34... Outdoor Track & Field (Freshman): Ran the 3,000 and the 5,000 with a runner-up finish at the shorter distance at the NDSU Invite... Placed third at the Cobber Open 5,000 with a time of 19:38.23.

High School: Eastern Dakota Conference runner-up in the 3,200 meters with a time of 11:57... Ran in three North Dakota state cross country meets, highlighted by 18th place showing as a senior... All-state and all-conference performer in cross country and track in 2002... Graduated with honors from Grand Forks Central.

Personal: Daughter of Gary and LoRia Novak... Has one brother, Robert, and one sister, Terry... College major is physical education with minors in coaching and health education.
