2007-08 SEASON:
Indoor (Freshman): Came in fifth in the shot put and 11th in the weight throw at the Summit League Championships...Had a personal-best of 52-3 3/4 in the weight throw in a third place finish at the Cobber Open.
Outdoor (Freshman): Finished third in the hammer throw at the Summit League Championships with a personal-best of 170-0.
2006-07 SEASON: Redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: State champion thrower at Griggs County Central High School... Swept the conference, regional and state in the shot as a senior... Added a fifth-place toss in the discus at the state meet... Holds career prep marks of 43-8 in the shot put which is a school record... Helped team to four Red River Valley Conference and North Dakota Region II championships... Four-year letterwinner in track & field and three in volleyball... Played middle hitter as a senior, collecting 238 kills and 117 blocks for the 25-14 Cougars... Named school’s outstanding senior athlete in 2006... National Wendy’s High School Heisman nominee and U.S. Army Reserve Scholar-Athlete award winner.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Calvin and Connie Eslinger... Family includes one older brother, Josh...Majoring in sport and recreation studies.
